EFC’s 2021 Conference, Transform 2021: Bubble-Breaking and Sense-Making, is an opportunity to come together as funders to embody the lessons and wisdom that are emerging from the pandemic and to channel our tremendous power and resources to pave the way for the transformation that lies ahead.
This year’s virtual event is comprised of four afternoons (ET) spread out over two weeks, with an evening ‘social’ to kick things off.
- May 25 – Evening social gathering (7:00 - 8:00 pm ET)
- May 26-27, June 1-2 – Interactive afternoon sessions (12:00 - 5:00 pm ET)

This will not be a passive conference experience! Yes, there will be compelling plenary discussions and ‘fireside chats’, but we also want attendees to roll up their sleeves and work together to design, refine and strategize bold pathways forward to guide our collective work in the year ahead. To activate this, we will be soliciting your input and ideas in advance of the conference to help shape the interactive ‘sense-making’ sessions that will happen at the end of each day. We will then further refine these session as we go, deriving inspiration from the themes and content delivered earlier in the day.
EFC’s conference is open to funders only (staff and board members) and other invited strategic partners. We encourage ALL funders interested in advancing a sustainable future for Canada to attend, regardless of EFC membership, and to take advantage of this opportunity to network, share, collaborate and make sense with your colleagues. To encourage multiple attendees per organization, we are offering a discounted rate (30% off) for additional tickets after you register two at the full applicable price.
We encourage one individual per organization to register all tickets on behalf of their organization if possible.
