Event description
Join ASHRAE Ryerson for a tour of the Enwave Deep Lake Cooling facilities in Downtown Toronto!

About this Event

Tickets will be refunded for those who are in attendance at the event!

Ever wonder what’s inside the building that’s just south of the Rogers Centre?

Join us on our tour to the Enwave Deep Lake Cooling facilities to find out!

Enwave pulls the coldest deep lake water from Lake Ontario. The water is 4ºC when it’s pulled. The “chill” in that water is transferred to 72 buildings in the downtown core, keeping them cool.

Get an in depth look at the chillers, pipes, and heat exchangers operating on the 70 000 gallons of water that flow through per minute!

Location: 28 Rees St, Toronto, ON M5V 3V6.

Date: Friday, 11 October, 2019.

Departure: 12:30pm in front of the Ryerson SLC (341 Yonge Street). Please arrive by 12:15pm!

Arrival: Back on Ryerson campus by 4:00pm.

We will be travelling as a group by TTC. Fare can be refunded if necessary. For those who wish to meet us at the facilities please be there by 1:15pm!
