Equal Voice - SPRING Online National Campaign School (June)

About this event
Designed to equip women with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to run for political office in Canada.
The school consists of 8 online sessions including a mix of group exercises, guest speakers, and networking opportunities. Each course is approximately an hour and a half (90 minutes) for a total of 12 hours of learning over 4 weeks. Participants will receive a comprehensive workbook to guide them through the courses and a certificate of participation upon completion.

Spring 2021 Dates: June 1,3,8,10,15,17,22,24 (Every Tuesday and Thursday evening for 4 weeks).
Classes run from 7:00pm EST - 8:30pm EST (4:00pm - 5:30pm PDT / 8:00pm - 9:30pm ADT)
Please note: Sessions will be taking place online using Zoom and in english only. To participate, you will require access to the internet, a microphone, and a web camera. Closed-captioning will be available.
Bursaries / Funding your participation:
Most participants self-fund their participation in the campaign school. In the past, participants have also been funded by their local riding association or political party. There are also limited bursaries available:
- CIBC Bursaries for Indigenous women. Funded by CIBC – up to 3 available per campaign school.
- CIBC Bursaries for women living with disabilities are available. Funded by CIBC – up to 3 available per campaign school.
- Equal Voice Bursaries, available to all women and gender diverse people, based on financial need. The number of bursaries available depends on donations to the Bursary Fund – see below.
