About this event
The Lassonde School of Engineering and the Schulich School of Business invite you to attend the Ernest C. Mercier Lecture in Entrepreneurial Science on Monday, December 5.
We are honoured to welcome Dr. Molly Shoichet, a University Professor at the University of Toronto who served as Ontario’s first Chief Scientist in 2018, to present the lecture Research to Reality: from Asking the What If to Clinical Testing.
Dr. Shoichet is the recipient of many prestigious distinctions and the only person to be inducted into all three of Canada’s National Academies of Science of the Royal Society of Canada, Engineering and Health Sciences. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to learn from an expert in the study of polymers for drug delivery and tissue regeneration.
The lecture will be held in person, doors open at 6:15 pm and we encourage guests to engage in the Q&A session and the networking reception following the lecture.
Face coverings or masks are required on campus. For additional information on York’s health and safety requirements for in-person activities, please see the York University Better Together website.
