ASME Ontario Section Presents our Annual Holiday Social 2016 at ESC-IT
Engineers are known for their critical thinking skills, teamwork and ability to logically produce solutions to problems with honed analytical skills. For this year’s annual ASME Ontario holiday social event, we’d like to put that theory to the test and are hoping you’d be interested in joining the experiment!
ASME Ontario Section is proud to present the “2016 Annual Holiday Social at ESC-IT”! ESC-IT is a real world, problem solving, and teamwork-displaying activity. After being put into teams of 3-5 people, you will be locked in a room with a mysterious back story and multiple clues all around you. The key objective of the game will be to find out how to escape the room before time runs out to successfully pass the test. The types of riddles and problems you will have to solve are completely unpredictable whether visually, mathematically, etc. This activity will put your cooperative and quick thinking skills to the absolute test and do justice to the soft skills engineers are very well known for. On Wednesday, December 7, 2016, please join us for this fun and challenging social activity. Following the event, we will be heading next door to East Side Mario’s restaurant to fill our bellies and discuss the fun excitement we had just endured as teammates (NOTE: dinner cost is not covered in registration fee and is completely optional). So feel free to join us and invite family and friends as well for this amazing experience.
