About This Event

This PLE Connections session features Esquao the Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women. They will share information about their organization and the programs and services they offer to help people navigate the justice system.

Esquao is a non profit organization that supports and advocates for Indigenous women across Alberta. Their work focuses on safety, rights, leadership, education, and community support. Esquao raises awareness about the issues Indigenous women face and provides programs that promote empowerment, wellbeing, and justice.

Who Should Attend

Community members, service providers, students, and anyone who wants to learn more about the supports available to Indigenous women in Alberta.
