Description

A full-day training featuring two keynote and two breakout sessions — all centered on the contemporary relevance of Alfred Adler’s Individual Psychology. Workshops will include applications for both clinical practice and communal living. The day will culminate with Adler Café - a traditional Adlerian gathering.

Presenters: Jim Bitter and Hala Buck

Topics Include:

  • Integrating mind, body, art and cross-cultural awareness to understand our need to belong and how it affects our perception of the “other”

  • Alfred Adler’s teachings on community feeling and social interest: Hope and encouragement in the 21st century - and in the midst of dread

  • Applying integrative Adlerian art therapy in an age of cultural anxiety and alienation

  • Adaptive Reorientation Therapy
