About this event
Everyone thinks they know ethics, or how to handle an ethical situation… until they are confronted by an unexpected ethical dilemma.
And every seasoned PR pro will tell you that - sooner or later - you will be confronted with a difficult ethical situation.
How do you get your spidey sense focused on identifying and overcoming difficult ethical situations? By reviewing ethical scenarios, practicing, and discussing how you would deal with the situations, and using the ethical tools available to you through CPRS and other professional associations.
You will learn:
- How to use the CPRS Decision Tree when faced with an ethical dilemma
- Hindsight is 20-20: We’ll look at some case studies and have an interactive discussion of how the Decision Tree could have assisted with the situations
- If you’re brave enough -- Bring your ethical dilemmas or challenges and get the advice of your peers.
Join us online on February 17 at noon MT for an Alberta-wide session presented by CPRS Edmonton and CPRS Calgary. February is Global Alliance Ethics Month.
