About this event
In January 2022 Toronto was hit with a record snowstorm of 55 cm over a 15 hour period, prompting the City to invest in maintenance infrastructure and transparency of winter operations after media negative feedback. In this presentation, three civil engineering graduate students from the University of Toronto will present an overview of how to use open data and Python, including the City's open data portal, weather data and social media, to answer questions about the City's performance.
