Event description

Description

Evaluation provides youth programs with the tools to understand, measure and track if their programs achieved their intended outcomes and impacts. Evaluation also helps programs understand why they are successful and how they can be improved. It can support youth programs to do what they do, better.

Youth programs sometimes struggle with how to understand and measure these outcomes and articulate the impact of their programs to their stakeholders – including parents, funders, and youth themselves. The workshop series will support participants to develop an evaluation plan, implement it and use the findings to improve their programs and share their impact.

This free evaluation workshop day was developed by the Youth Research and Evaluation eXchange (YouthREX) to provide participants with a foundational understanding of the main concepts, approaches and practices relevant to conducting evaluation of programs and initiatives within a youth sector context.

Workshop Facilitators: Vivian Oystrick, YouthREX Northeastern Hub Manager and Sidney Shapiro, YouthREX Northeastern Hub Research Assistant

You should register if....you are working in the ON youth sector as a frontline youth worker, management staff, student or researchers.
