Evening On-Site Programming (December 7)

During your visit you’ll watch a Planetarium Star Theatre show, experience a science demonstration in our GroundStation Canada theatre and visit our Observatory, with a tour of our ½ metre Cassegrain telescope. Then join us outside to view the night skies through our portable telescopes. These telescopes give us the freedom to move around and find the best position for viewing.

Our programming is recommended for attendees ages 8+. Children must be accompanied by adults.

One ticket must be purchased for each member of your group. Tickets for children ages 3 and under, who do not need their own seat in our theatres, are available at no cost.

Please arrive early to allow time for check-in.

• Planetarium Star Theatre Show: Surfing the Solar System* - See the solar system as you’ve never seen it before – leave Earth behind to tour some of the most intriguing destinations in our solar system and find out more about some of the latest discoveries about our neighbouring planets. You will even have a chance to see Earth from the perspective of astronauts on the International Space Station.

• Planetarium Star Theatre Show: From Earth to the Universe* Take a voyage through time and space and revel in the splendor of the worlds in our Solar System and then travel to our Milky Way and beyond. Discover more about the history of astronomy, the invention of the telescope and how telescopes allow us to probe even deeper into the Universe.

REGISTRATION

Select your desired time slot and purchase a ticket for each member of your party.

Tickets are $18 (plus taxes and fees) per person in your group.

Gift cards can be redeemed in-person only. We are unable to process gift cards for online tickets sales.

PLEASE NOTE: Eventbrite online ticket sales end at 6:30pm for that evening's programming. If you would like to book a same-day visit after online ticket sales have closed additional tickets may be available at the front desk.

VISITING US

Masking is optional at our facility, and we do not require proof of vaccination for entry. We continue to recommend masks and will have masks available to guests who wish to wear one but do not have their own masks.

Ample paid parking is available in front of the Space Centre building (Parking Lot #60 on the Easy Park app).
