Event description
Join us for evening Tea Time with Ozoz Sokoh & Beverly Crandon, inspired by Leyla Jeyte's series, if they saw me, i would live!

About this event

Join us for this summer culinary event at BAND with a Tea infused menu by Ozoz Sokoh, and wine recommendations by Beverly Crandon inspired by Leyla Jeyte's series, if they saw me, i would live!

Ozoz Sokoh is food explorer—a researcher, writer, eater, home cook, photographer, and stylist who also spent 15 years as an exploration geologist. Since 2018, she's been full-time in food and currently lives in Ontario, Canada with plans to move to New York. She believes that an ingredient is an ingredient and shouldn't be limited to common or pre-defined uses.

Beverly is a CMS certified sommelier candidate and cofounder of Vinequity. Vinequity aims to ensure that people who identify as Black, Indigenous or as People of Colour are given equitable treatment and opportunities to access, grow and thrive as visible leaders in the Canadian Wine Industry.

Join us Saturday July 31st in the BAND Backyard for a sit down dining experience with carefully curated tasting plates, tea, wine, music, art and conversation!

What more could you ask for!
