About Your Host

Lloyd Chambers is a New Brunswick native and a co-founder of the Fredericton Craft Beer Festival, one of THE leading festivals in Atlantic Canada. Saying that Lloyd knows beer is an understatement – having organized more than 100 beer-related events over the last six years, his knowledge of New Brunswick craft beer and the city of Fredericton is extensive. Lloyd provides an authentic look at what it means to be passionate about craft beer, as well as plenty of insider perspective and some top spots for living the New Brunswick craft beer and culinary scene.

What We’ll Do

You’ll learn about Fredericton’s booming craft beer scene as we walk through the scenic downtown streets of this historic city and take a guided tour through the new Garrison Night Market (showcasing local and imported handmade products; art and fine crafts; locally grown farm products; and local micro-brews, ciders, and sprits). We’ll stop in at four pubs and eateries to taste a variety of local craft beers, and then head on over to one of Fredericton’s craft breweries for a sample a flight of beer, just a short stroll from the scenic Saint John River.

What We’ll Provide

A pint of New Brunswick craft beer at each location we visit, as well as a sample flight of beer at Graystone Brewing.

Who Can Attend

Beer enthusiasts welcomed, from craft beer novices to certified beer geeks! Guests must be 19 years or older to attend.

Notes

Our tour takes place outdoors and involves some walking, so dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

There are a few new spots that may be open in time for the event, in which case they’ll be included as a bonus.

The event will take place regardless of numbers.

Bring identification as you may be asked to show that you are 19 years or older.

We do not encourage drinking in excess. Please use caution and always drink responsibly.

Where We’ll Be

Fredericton is rich in culture, history, and riverside beauty, and has the highest concentration of breweries, meaderies, and cideries in Atlantic Canada. Our tour will take us through its historic downtown streets to the King Street Ale House, James Joyce Pub, Brewbakers casual fine dining, 540 Kitchen & Bar gastro pub, and Graystone Brewing.
