Expanding Accessibility in Biotechnology - Ottawa
Date and time
Description
Are You an Ontario Employer? Make Sure You’re Compliant!
Did you know, nearly 1 in 7 Ontarians are persons with disabilities? Persons with disabilities represent a strategically valuable talent pool, yet only 7.6% of bio-economy companies have persons with disabilities on staff.
In 2017, Ontario businesses and non-profits with 1 employee or more must comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Additionally, employers with 20 or more employees must file an accessibility compliance report with the Government of Ontario.
BioTalent Canada, along with partners Gowling WLG, Stratford Managers and David Berman Communications, will be discussing the new AODA compliance standards and what they mean for your business.
Following the discussion, eSight will be doing a special demonstration of their breakthrough product that lets the legally blind actually see.
Please join us and learn how to successfully complete your compliance report.
