Experience Crafting 101

Join our Experience Crafting 101 Webinar presented by Travel Drumheller with support from Blue Oak Destination Advisory. This webinar, available both in person and online, will introduce you to the concept of experience tourism as well as outline the support available to bring our ideas to life.

Travel Drumheller is looking for business owners, local tourism champions and individuals who have an interesting passion, skill or profession to join us as we work together to craft new visitor experiences unique to our region.

Experiential tourism allows the visitor to connect to the “essence” of a place and the people who live there. An experience engages the visitor’s senses; has interactive components; makes connections on an emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual level; and has a tangible takeaway. The most important aspect of an experience is that it tells a story of the person(s) providing the experience AND about the stage (the place) on which it is set.
