About this Event
Experience Grad York is split up into two tracks: the International Track, and the Domestic Track, with a Bonus Session for everyone (Current Student Q&A).
Registration is required, and all events will be held via Zoom. You do not need to attend all sessions in your chosen track.

INTERNATIONAL TRACK (9:00am-2:45pm EST)
9am-10:30am International Admissions 101
We'll cover the graduate admissions process from top to bottom.
10:30am-12:00pm Introduction to Funding and Scholarships for International Students
Learn the basics of funding and scholarship opportunities available for international students.
12:00pm-1:30pm How to Write a Statement of Interest
FGS Dean & AVP Thomas Loebel will walk prospective students through exactly how to write a strong statement of interest.
1:30pm-2:45pm Visas, Study Permits, Work Permits and More with York International
Learn more about applying for a visa/study permit, how work permits work post graduation, and what studying in Canada is like.
BONUS: 6:00pm-7:30pm Q&A with Current Students
