Event description

Description

From January — March 2018, the Social Innovation Institute (SII) — a project of the Centre for Social Innovation — is hosting a co-creative process across Canada to explore what can be done to continue and expand the supports available to Canada’s social innovation ecosystem.

One option being considered is the creation of a social innovation network for Canada, but before committing to such a big idea, the core team supporting this process want to listen deeply and better understand the current goals, gaps, and opportunities for social innovation communities across the country.

They hope to learn about:

  • Current strategic and operational challenges?
  • How would an ideal social innovation ecosystem help social innovators’ to achieve and sustain success?
  • If there were to be a social innovation network for Canada, what should it do? How would you expect it to work in practice?

On Monday February 26, the Social Innovators Network of Calgary (SINC) will be hosting a Calgary community dialogue at Bissett School of Business from 1:30 - 3:30pm.

Please join us to share your insights, experiences and aspirations for social innovation in Canada and explore together the feasibility, viability and desirability of a national social innovation network! All are welcome until we reach capacity — please kindly register to save a spot!

If you cannot attend, but still want to participate, you are invited to sign-up to receive a survey to share your thoughts and experiences with the core team hosting this process.
