YOUTH AND ADULT WORKSHOPS AT THE WORKERS ARTS & HERITAGE CENTRE

WORK IT!, our new hands-on Saturday programs for youth and adults 12 and up will give visitors an opportunity to have unique, inter-generational learning and art-making experiences that connect with the themes featured in our museum. All programs start with a short guided tour of our main gallery exhibition. These workshops are a great chance for parents and teens to work side-by-side or together on a creative project.

All programs are PWYC! Pre-registration is required; space in each workshop is limited. All are welcome.

June 2nd, 1:30-4 pm Exploring Anthotypes with Teresa Ascencao

Learn about and try your hand at creating an Anthotype, the photographic technique used in our main gallery exhibition Daily Bread using fruit and vegetable extracts.

This workshop will be paired with a short tour of Teresa Ascencao's exhibition DAILY BREAD, led by the artist.

For more information, contact Tara Bursey, Program Coordinator at tara@wahc-museum.ca or 905-522-3003 ex. 29
