Event Details

Increasingly women are getting involved in the world of business ownership and have many more opportunities available to them. This series explores the joys and pitfalls of being a female entrepreneur, a MOMpreneur and creating the type of business you love and that works for you. Whether you’re considering it on a full time, part time or hobbyist basis, join us for these informative and enlightening discussions. You’ll hear from established female entrepreneurs who’ll share their stories, challenges, recommendations and lessons learned. Attend them separately ($20/each) or all three for $50.

Come be INSPIRED, LEARN, SHARE, CONNECT and NETWORK amongst amazing women!

Canada has been ranked as a highly favorable environment for female entrepreneurship. And there is no shortage of different types of enterprises, business models and experts to learn from. The panelists for this session include: a seasoned entrepreneur that switched from the lucrative finance sector to launching and growing two pioneering social enterprises; an advocate promoting entrepreneurship across the province as well as mobilizing over 500 young girls through her own initiative; a think tank co-founder supporting women on their entrepreneurial journey through their local incubator and events; and a happiness maven spreading joy through both her Iranian and North American online businesses.
