You are invited to forum on preparing for potential extreme heat events. Building on information shared by our healthy authority, Kim McLennan, Environmental Health Officer, Fraser Health, Health Protection will share an overview of the tools and resources available to non government organizations to help form plan to keep staff and clients safe in the event of a heatwave.
Barbara Morgan, Emergency Manager, City of Pitt Meadows will guide us through identifying resources and gaps and developing community based solutions. Maple Ridge Councillor and Professional Firefighter Ryan Svendsen will introduce a new tool that could help save lives.
