Event description
EXTREME PERFORMATIVITY: a workshop with SARAH ORMANDY

About this Event

This never before taken or taught workshop will focus on an intersection of performance art and improvisation.

It will take the fundamentals of improvisation in a direct comparison with performance art, and utilize the skills in both to explore a heightened form of creation. This interdisciplinary workshop may involve movement, music, text, research and props. Participants can hope to gain a better understanding of the way their already-existing improvisation skills can transcend into new forms of creation and experiences. Is improvised comedy performance art? We will discover the answer is: Yes, And…
