Faces of Humanity: In Canada and Around the World
Sun, 19 March 2017, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM MDT
Please join us on March 19th to learn about the humanitarian assistance Canadians are providing during some of the largest disasters, emergencies and conflicts all over the world.
The Faces of Humanity Exhibit will feature aid workers that have been a part of responses including, Ecuador for the earthquake last year, Haiti for Hurricane Matthew, West Africa for the Ebola outbreak, Zimbabwe for the drought and food security crisis, and Nepal after the 2015 earthquakes.
At the exhibit you will have the opportunity to interact with some of these aid workers and ask them questions about their experiences. There will also be displays and video presentations that will give you a greater understanding for the work being done in these challenging contexts.
The exhibit launch will take place from 11 a.m. to noon, and will run until 4 p.m.
There is free parking in the lot behind the building.
We hope you'll stop by to learn about the important work Canadians are doing around the world.
