About this event
This course is designed to help supervisors, managers, directors, volunteers, Boards, and Council develop sound management practices to improve the overall management of fixed assets and lengthen their useful life. Proper asset planning and the implementation of preventative maintenance practices benefits your department and community. Recreation examples and tools will be discussed and provided during the course.

Primary Audience: Recreation practitioners that have supervisory responsibilities over asset management and budgeting.
Prerequisites: Laptop computer with Excel
Mode of Training: The course is designed to provide a balance of classroom instruction, conversation with short facility tour.
Course Materials: Registrants will receive information at the workshop.
Health and Safety Equipment: A facility tour will be included with the session and proper clothing and footwear is recommended.

It is important to recognize that this event will adhere to any Government of Saskatchewan Public Health Orders that are in effect at the time of delivery.
The COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing. To reduce the chances of transmission, participants are encouraged to take preventative actions, such as masking, social distancing and regular hand washing over the duration of the course. If you are feeling sick in any way, or have tested positive for COVID-19 within the five days prior to the course, you are asked to cancel your registration and not attend the event.
Any behaviour that intentionally threatens the physical or emotional health and safety of the Facilitator/Instructor or another participant before, during or after training will be cause for immediate expulsion.
