FACTS (French Ameri-Can Climate TalkS) : Climate Change and Health

Ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (Paris 2015), the United Nations Association in Canada (UNA-Canada), the French Embassy of Canada and the University of Toronto are organizing a French Ameri-Can Climate Talks (FACTS) event inToronto on October 8, 2015, dedicated to health and climate change issues.
Participants in the conference are
- Mrs Fatou NDOYE, Deputy Regional Director of the United Nation Environement Programme Regional Office for North America
- Pr James ORBINSKI, Research Chair in Global Health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, Professor of both medicine and political science at the University of Toronto,
-Pr W. Richard PELTIER, Director, Centre for Global Change Science, University of Toronto, member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC),
-Pr Jean-François TOUSSAINT, member of the Public Health High Council (Haut Conseil de la Santé publique), France, Cardiologist and Professor of Physiology at University Paris Descartes .
