Fail Forward: A Resilience Workshop (4 hours)

This is a 4 hour workshop that is focused on developing and enhancing resiliency for post-secondary students. The topics include: Goals & Growth, Leadership & Strength Building, Gratitude & Growth and Community and Connection. Students will be provided with opportunities to learn, share and connect with the goal of enhancing their experience on campus and beyond.

Key themes of this 4 hour description are listed below:

Goals and Grit

This session is a combination of theory and practice; understanding why setting SMART goals is essential to follow through. Ideal for those wanting more in productivity and procrastination.

Leadership and Strength Building

. We are all leaders and we all have strengths. Let’s discover what those are and how to make our strengths work for us.

Gratitude and Growth

Practicing gratitude and developing a growth mindset are essential to resiliency. This session will focus on strategies for both and how to implement this into the classroom and everyday life.

Community and Connection

Loneliness has become an epidemic. This session focus on discussion the rationale behind this but also the strategies to get out of our electronics (or books!) and connect with others

THIS IS A 4 HOUR SESSION ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD. There is a 4 week series also being offered as well. Please ensure you register for the appropriate workshop. Let's get GRITTY!
