On November 4th, in Waterloo, ON, FaithTech is hosting a inspiring night similar to TED talks focused on inspiring the Christian community regarding technology innovation! Our culture is changing rapidly. The opportunity for the church body to leverage technology to advance the Kingdom locally and globally is palpable. Come be inspired and hear from those thinking outside the box on how to bridge the gap between our faith and technology to change the world with the Gospel. Ideal for pastors, ministry leaders, techies, and anyone interested in leveraging technology to help advance the Kingdom of God.

Joel is one of the most creative people you will ever meet. He is the Founder and CEO of Fan.si, a platform solving one of the biggest problems in the music industry: regular income for artists. He spent over 5 years full-time as a musical artist. He designed one of the most successful games on Facebook called MouseHunt. He passionate about Jesus, his family, music, and tech. He will be calling the Church to re-think talent.
Tim is the Executive Director of City Movement. City Movement is a new ministry helping business leaders, para-church ministries and churches work together for to advance the gospel in their city. For the last 15 years, Tim was Senior Pastor of The Meeting House, a multi-city church in central Ontario. He is also the author of God Enters Stage Left, a creative retelling of God's story. Tim is married to Liz and has three children, Nathan, Rachel and Josh. He enjoys basketball, distance running and writing.
Ken is the Senior/Teaching Pastor at Creekside Church in Waterloo. He also leads a regional gathering for pastors and ministry leaders called City Watch. Ken believes technology has an enormous impact on culture and society. Ken is exploring ways technology impacts the local church and what we need to do moving forward. Ken is married with five kids.
Elle Pyke is a dreamer and a doer who is working hard to prove the two aren't mutually exclusive. Elle is the Director of Marketing and Communications at SalesEvolve, a sales & marketing company based in Waterloo. In addition to her work at SalesEvolve, Elle is a Lay Minister with the Free Methodist Church in Canada and Program Manager or The New Leaf Network, a Canadian Christian Network that supports church planters & spiritual entrepreneurs. Elle has served on the board of number of organizations such as Women Powering Technology Global, TEDxWaterlooWomen and The Christian Entrepreneurial Leaders Organization.
Sheldon is the Director of The Life Project, a ministry of Power to Change. The Life Project links over 1000 online mentors with over 10,000 monthly messages of real people asking real life questions. He has a BA in Sports Ministry from Briercrest but learned everything he needed to know for his job working at Radio Shack. He has been on staff since 1997 and loves that thousands of people read about Jesus every night while he sleeps. He has a wife and 3 girls.
