Bernie's Buddies is hosting a Fall 2019 kids' grief workshop series. This workshop occurs once per week for three weeks from 630pm to 800pm (registration includes all three dates):
- Thursday November 28
- Thursday December 5
- Thursday December 12
Kids ages 5 to 9 can participate in activities in a peer group with other kids who've also experienced a death loss. Activities each week include:
- a visit with our therapy dog,
- yoga movement and relaxation, and
- creative conversation.
Participants receive a certificate of completion and a picture of Brisk, our therapy dog.
Parents and caregivers are invited to relax and socialize together while their kids participate in the workshops. Light refreshments will be provided.
Our workshops are made possible through generous supporters - there's no cost to participate!!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This workshop series is for kids ages 5 to 9.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Bowness Community Association has first come, first serve free parking spaces in their lot. There is also free street parking after 6pm. In addition, Calgary Transit has bus routes that access Bowness.
