On Saturday, October 21, 2017, in collaboration with local chefs, farmers, wineries and Event Manager Chef Steph 'The Grilling Gourmet' Legari, the Osgoode Youth Association (O-YA) is hosting an the Ontario150 Fall Harvest Dinner.
Taylor Park, behind O-YA, will be transformed with tents, tables, dinnerware, decorations, music and lighting to host 150 guests. Participants will be treated to a memorable evening of delicious appetizers, soup, entree buffet and spectacular dessert; all created with food from local producers in a style that fits with our featured Chef's 'Ontario150 vision'. This impactful, participatory and inclusive initiative is in celebration of Canada and Ontario's 150th anniversary.
Osgoode is excited to join other communities in making Canada's 150th Anniversary an occasion for pride and celebration across the province. 2017 is an exciting and festive year where Ontarians have the opportunity to come together and celebrate the incredible province we live in. The Fall Harvest Dinner was made possible with support from the Province of Ontario through the Ontario150 program.

Chef Steph Legari: Chef and owner of Steph the Grilling Gourmet®. Caterer, Food Entertainer, Event Planner, Television Host/Radio Personality/Public Speaker and Pro Staff member for Kamado Joe. Chef Mathieu Desjardins: Born and raised in Vars, Ontario, Desjardins is currently Chef to the British High Commission of Canada.
Chef Alexandra Benedict: Alexandra currently works at both the Parliament Hill Restaurant and the National Arts Centre. As a First Nation Mohawk from Akwesasne, Alexandra will bring a special touch to the food served at our event

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. How many guests can participate in the event?
150 guests will be able to participate. There is a maximum of 8 tickets per group.
2. Is there assigned seating?
Participants will be assigned a table, but not a specific seat. Those purchasing groups of 2 - 8 tickets will be seated at the same table whenever possible.
3. When will tickets go on sale?
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10 am.
4. What is the ticket cost?
30 youth tickets (ages 16 - 25) will be available at a cost of $50 per ticket. 120 adult tickets (ages 25+) will be available at a cost of $125 per ticket. Guests who purchase youth tickets will be required to show proof of age. Tickets cover the cost of all food, entertainment and one drink (either alcoholic or non-alcoholic). There will be a cash bar available to purchase additional drinks.
5. Is there an age requirement to participate in the event?
There are 2 types of tickets for sale for the Fall Harvest Dinner. Tickets for youth participants aged 16 - 25 and tickets for adults participants aged 25+. Every person attending, regardless of his/her age, will only be permitted access to the event with a valid ticket (i.e. one ticket per attendee). Please note that alcoholic beverages will be sold and / or served to attendees 19 years-old and older, with a valid piece of photo ID.
6. What if I have a food allergy or I am a vegetarian?
Due to the unique nature of this dinner, we can accommodate only life threatening allergies. By purchasing tickets to this event, you acknowledge that there will be no substitutions or alterations available for the food and beverages being served. There are both vegetarian and meat dishes on the menu, with the main course protein elements being beef and fish. Please share only life-threatening allergies by email to email@example.com, along with your name and phone number.
7. What happens in the event of rain or other inclement weather?
This is a rain or shine event. Dining will take place under an overhead tent with some heaters. Please dress appropriately.
8. Is it accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes. People with reduced mobility will have the opportunity to enjoy the full experience, and accessible washrooms will be on hand to accommodate those with reduced mobility. If you have reduced mobility, please email firstname.lastname@example.org along with your name and phone number so that we can communicate with you.
9. Is there a dress code for the event?
While there is no dress code per se, the Fall Harvest Dinner is an elegant dinner party and guests are encouraged to dress appropriately with a celebration in mind. Semi formal is suggested.
Fall Harvest Dinner will also communicate with participants a few weeks prior to the event to share event specific details.
