Fall Portrait Mini Sessions!
Book a slot and get a 45 minute portrait session outside in Edmonton's river valley (weather permitting). You will get all the best images in high resolution, edited, and ready for download. The $200 session fee gets you license rights to print and share your images however you see fit.
The ticket price below is your non-refundable deposit to book your time slot. The remaining fee of $160 can be paid during the session or shortly afterwards in the form of cash, cheque or e-transfer.
How many people can come to my session?
As little as one, or as many as 8-ish. Immediate family is best, but extended family is fine. The larger the group, the more set up time is involved for each image and fewer images that you might receive.
What type of portraits can we do?
Family, just the kids, extended family, animals, engagements, couples, professional/corporate images. You can bring newborns, but we won't be able to get the typical newborn images in rushed outdoor setting.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Sure, no problem. Just send me a note at email@example.com
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope, I'll have a printout with everyone's time slot.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Not a problem - perhaps you want to gift a session.
How long will it take to get my edited images?
Edited images will be ready for download no more than 14 days after the event.
How many images will I get?
There are no guarantees as every session is different, but it would be rare to have less than 20 images or more than 70
Something came up, can I cancel?
You can cancel, but your deposit is non refundable. You can transfer it to a friend no problem.
How can I pay the balance?
The ticket price here is your deposit. The balance of the session fee ($200-$40 = $160) can be paid at the session in the form of cash or cheque, or within a day of the session in the form of an Interac e-transfer.
What if the weather sucks?
In the event of extensive rain, snow, sleet, lightning, etc, the decision will be made to cancel some or all of the time slots. In that event, tickets will be refunded and booked clients will be given priority booking on a make up date.
What should I wear?
Whatever you are comfortable in. Generally, complementary colours/tones are a good choice. Avoid reds and fluorescent colours.
How early should I be?
Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time slot. There is not a lot of slack in the schedule, so we want to use up as much of your 45 minute time slot as possible!
Where's it going to be?
I will update this event page and send out an email to all registered guests about the location 1 week before the event. It will be in a central location in Edmonton with easy parking and either in, or very close to the river valley. The location will be picked based on foliage colour and lack of construction or major events.
We would prefer to keep our images private, is that possible?
For sure! Let me know during or prior to the session and I won't post anything online.
