A walk through a great urban environment. It was built on the finest planning and architectural ideas of the 70's (Jane Jacobs, Christopher Alexander and others). But with land leases ending in 15 to 20 years the future is up for grabs. Local residents are looking for ways of creating a future for this special place. Infill Development? Wholesale replacement? You will enjoy an engaging mobile discussion of one of Vancouver's greatest neighbourhoods and will be asked to contribute your own ideas and stories.

Walk Leader
Richard Vallee - Long term resident. Architect. Member of the RePlan group who are working to extend the leases. Someone who is connected to the area with a lot of stories, history, and design insights to share.

Graham McGarva, Evan Alderson and Jim Woodward will also be helping to lead the walk and stimulate discussion.
