Description

The conference will bring together luminaries Dr. Kwame McKenzie, Physician who specializes in Psychiatry and is the CEO of Wellesley Institute; Dr. Julian Gojer, Psychiatrist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, University of Toronto; along with Aisha Francis, founder and executive director of Project: Restore FIBI (Families Impacted by Incarceration), researchers, students, community practitioners and policymakers.

Hosted at Ontario Tech University, in collaboration with: Brock University, Department of Sociology; Caribbean African Canadian Social Services; City of Toronto Confronting Antiblackracism Unit; Durham College Office of Student Diversity, Inclusion and Transitions; Project Restore (FIBI) Families Impacted By Incarceration; Scarborough Center For Healthy Communities; St. Andrew’s United Church and the Zero Gun Violence Movement.
