A 6-week psychoeducation group for family and friends of people with mental ilness

Sessions topics:

- Understand mental illness and substance use and their treatments

- Recovery as a family business and parallel process

- Effective communication, emotion regulation & problem solving skills

- Forming crisis-intervention and recovery plans

- Navigating the mental health system

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes, this program is for adult caregivers 18+


When do the meetings take place?

This is a closed group that will meet for 6 consecutive weeks on Fridays from 6pm-7:30pm. The group starts on Friday, April 6th and runs through to Friday, May 11th.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

You can travel by subway and the closest station is Yonge/Eglinton. The venue is a 5-minute walk from the subway. If you are driving, there is paid parking on the street, several lots close by, or free parking on side streets.
