This Week's Project: Family Banners

This fall, families will use art to build the future they want through collaboration, creativity and care.

Each week, the AGB presents family-friendly activities that have families working together to create art that informs, inspires and communicates important messages. Family Open Studios are presented in conjunction with the exhibition The Future of Work: Parallel Economies, on view in our galleries. We encourage families to explore our exhibitions during their visit, and make connections between their family studio project, and the work of our featured artists this season.

All activities are ideal for school-aged children, aged 6 years old and up. Younger children may need assistance from their caregiver.

How Visitors Can Participate:

Choose a one hour block of time (1pm, 2 pm or 3pm start) for your family "bubble." Please arrive 10 minutes early on the day of the program.

If you are unable to attend, please cancel your free registration via Eventbrite or reach out to us so that we can ensure another family can have your spot, as for your safety program capacity is limited to just four families per hour indoors. We ask that families be mindful of allowing as many community members the opportunity to attend this program as possible when reserving spots.
