Back by popular demand

Our workshops are expanding to a variety of locations throughout GTA.

hEr VOLUTION workshops are intended to spark an interest for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in girls and young women, ages 7-15 years. Workshops will involve hands-on learning, led by professionals and innovators in their field, and students will be motivated to consider STEM as an exciting future educational and/or career option. With advanced insights into the fundamentals of STEM-based topics, students will feel engaged and will take away valuable resources including access to a network of potential mentors.

Please join us on April 6, 2014 at 11:30 AM for an interactive and hands-on learning type session to learn more about Women in STEM: A History. This session is about learning about women who have made an impact in this field from the beginning of time. This workshop intends to recognize these women and it will be led by Amy Leask, VP of Enable Education in collaboration with hEr VOLUTION and generously brought to you by PANROM Learning.

This session will cover answers to questions such as:

  • When did the women first became involved in STEM?
  • Who are some of the most famous?
  • What did they do?

This event is complementary however donations are welcomed.
