Event description
Thank you for signing up to register for "FASD Training for the Youth Justice Sector."

About this event

This is a new training program about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) developed and administered by the Canada FASD Research Network (CanFASD), that consolidates research and best practices about FASD into a practical and advanced online course.

The course provides need-to-know information and skills for individuals working with youth, especially in law enforcement, probation and custody settings in Canada.

The goal of this training initiative is to increase the capacity of staff working in the youth services sector in Ontario to understand, identify and support youth who have complex mental health issues or neurodevelopmental disorders and are or at risk of being in conflict with the law.
