A FREE concert exclusively for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community, with children's band, Los Patita de Perro

About this event

The first evening of the Kultrun World Music Festival is a concert unlike many others, one exclusively for the pleasure of the deaf and hard of hearing community. If you, or a loved one, wish to participate, please register for tickets now. Seating is limited to 40, so at this time, we can only book up to 2 tickets per participant. Our focus is on the participants.

Using special vibrotactile technology the audience will enjoy the music through sensory experiences, in other words "feel the music." In 2019, Neruda Arts held a similar concert as part of the Kultrun World Music Festival, and reported on in this CTV news article.

Performing the music, is a very special band, Los Patita de Perro, the most influential children's entertainers in Mexico.

Following the concert, the audience will have the opportunity to paint the chairs, inspired by the event!

Refreshments will be available.

This is a free concert. Donations are always appreciated and help us to continue providing high quality, free performances and programs to our community.

Los Patita de Perro:

Originally from Puebla city, Los Patita de Perro, supports a solid and extraordinary work in a class of its own, with 28 years of experience, including several generations of children, and more mature audiences, touching on social issues that lead to reflection, tolerance, inclusion, children's rights, critical thinking, leading to freedom of thought and expression.
