DATE: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2018TIME: 2:00 P.M. – 3:30 P.M. (MT)

WILL YOU BE PRESENTING YOUR WORK AT THIS YEAR'S GRADUATE STUDENT RESERACH CONFERENCE? HAVE YOU WONDERED ABOUT HOW TO PLAN, HOW TO ENGAGE YOUR AUDIENCE OR HOW TO STAY WITHIN YOUR TIME LIMIT? IN THIS 90 MINUTE INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP, THROUGH SAMPLE VIDEOS AND DISCUSSION, WE WILL COVER SIX POINTS TO CONSIDER WHEN PLANNING AND DELIVERING YOUR PRESENTATION. ALTHOUGH WE WILL FOCUS MAINLY ON FACE TO FACE PRESENTATIONS, WE WILL ALSO COVER SOME TIPS FOR PRESENTING ONLINE. AT THE END OF THE SESSION, YOU WILL HAVE A CHECKLIST TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PREPARED AS WELL AS POSSIBLE FOR A SUCCESSFUL PRESENTATION. AND BE SURE TO BRING YOUR OWN QUESTIONS AND SUGGESTIONS TO THE SESSION-- WE’LL SPEND THE LAST 20 MINUTES ADDRESSING THEM.

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR BOTH GRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS WHO WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT PRESENTING THEIR RESEARCH OR PAPERS IN PERSON AND ONLINE.

THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE DELIVERED VIA ADOBE CONNECT. A LINK WILL BE SENT TO ALL REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS ONE DAY PRIOR TO THE PRESENTATION.
