Fiction Bootcamp: Level 1 with Fran Kimmel
About this event
Always wanted to write a novel or short story? Whether you’re new to writing or have been at it for awhile, this course will let you explore storytelling in a warm, supportive group. Topics include: character, setting, language, dialogue, pacing, viewpoint, and scene development. Weekly writing assignments will be critiqued during class. By the end of the course, you will complete a draft short story or novel chapter and leave with a toolkit that will guide and inspire you on your writing journey.
Instructor: Fran Kimmel
Fran Kimmel lives in Lacombe and is an award-winning author of numerous short stories, plays for both theatre and radio, and the novels No Good Asking and The Shore Girl.
