One day training by the Adoption Council of Canada and Ilinniapaa Skills Development Centre (co-facilitated by a survivor of human trafficking and former Crown ward)

For service providers (CAS wokers, youth workers, social service providers, law enforcement, students) and youth caretakers (foster parents, adoptive/potential adoptive parents, kinship providers, and group home staff).

Taking place at the Ottawa Children's Aid Society, visitor parking available

FREE - Lunch provided

Brief overview:

- Child welfare in Ontario and Nunavut

- Vulnerability factors and experiences of sexual exploitation and trafficking of youth in/from care

- Identification and intervention methods

- Case management
