Spirit Unforgettable is the powerful and inspiring story of the iconic Canadian Celtic rock band Spirit of the West, and their charismatic frontman John Mann who, in 2014 at the age of 51, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. Join us for a screening of the film followed by discussion.
Winner of the Audience Choice award for Canadian documentary at Vancouver International Film Festival, and top 3 audience choice favourite at TIFF!

What are my parking options getting to the event?
Alzheimer Society of Durham Region (ASDR) is located at the northeast corner of Thickson and Champlain Ave. in Whitby (near Pita Deli and NeuroChangers Physiotherapy). There is plenty of parking around the perimeter, including some designated ASDR spots. Please enter doorway to the right of Pita Deli and take elevator to the second floor.
