Event description

Description

The UofT Black Students' Association and The Woodsworth College Students Association present the BSA's last Political Film Screening of the year!

"The Hallmark of Tolerance", a film by our media director in collaboration with our political directors!

DATE: April 7th, 2017
TIME: 6:30pm - 10:30pm
PLACE: Kruger Hall, Woodsworth College (119 St. George st)

ABOUT THE EVENT:
We want to explore political themes through different art forms such as film and hopefully encourage a spark of disccusion on pressing issues in our society. We also want to give you the opportunity to break away from the stress of school and be educated in a fun way.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
The film seeks to explore and expand upon the idea of Canada as "The Hallmark of Tolerance". It follows the stories of Black people living in Canada and how they deal with anti-black racism in the country, while challenging the stereotypes of the Black Canadian experience and redefining resistance.
