Films from the Autism Spectrum: Vancouver Screening
Tue, 17 May 2016, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM PDT
Liam O'Rourke and Dan Ten Veen, Co-Founders and Directors of Spectrum Productions Montreal, are excited to work in collaboration with Sergio Cocchia and Pacific Autism Family Center to bring the incredibly creative works of over 50 talented filmmakers on the Autism Spectrum from Montreal to screen at Vancouvers Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema in the SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts.
Selects for this screening are chosen from a catalouge of over 80 films produced during the 2015 Spectrum Productions Montreal summer camps. This screening has previously shown in Montreals Rialto Theatre, and in colaboration with TIFF at the Bell lightbox theatre in Toronto.
Spectrum Productions is a Montreal based not-for-profit organization, committed to providing quality experiences to youth on the autism spectrum, through easy access to film and media production tools, equipment and guidance. Programs and activities are designed to encourage and support the social, creative and vocational well being of participants. We believe that self-expression through media is a unique and accessible way to share interests, develop passions, and foster social networks.
