Description

November is National Financial Literacy Month

Personal finance is seen as the #1 issue causing workplace stress. Financial stress has been shown to be linked to mental, physical and emotional health problems – some of which can be severe. At McMaster, we are concerned about your well-being and offer courses and supports focused on strengthening the financial literacy of employees. As part of this program, we have partnered with the Credit Counselling Society of Canada to facilitate free, educational workshops.

The Making Cent$ of Money - Budgeting 101 session is designed to help employees create the life they want by getting in control of their budget, credit, debt and savings. Budgeting 101 participants will learn the 7 steps to budgeting which will help them take control of their finances and give them peace of mind.
