Financial Planning and Management for Local Food and Farm Social Enterprises
About this event
Financial planning and management are essential for small businesses, providing a roadmap for you to reach your short-term and long-term business goals. Our Financial Planning & Management workshop will give you a hands-on, guided approach to managing your finances without feeling overwhelmed. Tailored explicitly to local food and farm businesses, we will cover how to:
- Understand accounting basics
- Plan and forecast for the future
- Manage debt
- Explore finance options that work for you
We are pleased to be joined by Madelaine Clerk, a market gardener, chartered accountant, and finance manager passionate about empowering local food and farm entrepreneurs with the financial skills and tools to build better businesses. Please note that limited space is available for this workshop to allow for a hands-on, collaborative learning environment to ask questions and engage with the instructor and other food and farm entrepreneurs.
