We are bringing our Chocolate Tastings Canada-wide*! This virtual Zoom event is a thrill to the senses as you are guided through the intricate stages of chocolate making and the art of tasting artisan chocolate.

Background: Learn the story of how our founder, Jacqueline Jacek, took her chocolatier career from her Sherwood Park basement to stores across Canada.

Facility Tour: Chocolate making and designing are intricate processes that take time and patience. You will experience a 360 degree, guided virtual tour of our production studio and kitchen where the edible art you know and love is created.

Tasting: The moment you’ve been waiting for! Together we will taste our way through a box of 12 chocolates (do not contain nuts in the recipe, but please note that we are not a certified nut-free facility), including seasonal bonbons, bean-to-bar favourites, and chocolate in its purest, most elegant form. You will learn how to appreciate chocolate by its smell, sight, sound, and taste all while learning how to identify flavour notes and origins.

All tasting kits (1 kit = 1 attendee) will be shipped right to you via mail.

Ticket tiers are based on how many kits (1 kit = 1 attendee) will be shipped to the same address (shipping included).

Chocolate is best enjoyed with good company! Purchase kits in bundles (sent to the same address) to receive a discount, and to share the fun with the special people in your life.

1-3 kits shipped to one Canadian address = $44 each (incl. Eventbrite fees & shipping)

4-7 kits shipped to one Canadian address = $41 each (incl. Eventbrite fees & shipping)

8+ kits shipped to one Canadian address = $36 each (incl. Eventbrite fees & shipping)

FAQs

When will I receive my tasting kit(s)?

The kits will be shipped out approximately 7 days prior to the tasting, depending on the shipping destination. All shipments will have a tracking number; please contact us at hello@jacekchocolate.com if you would like us to send you the tracking number.

How do I store the chocolate kit prior to the tasting?

Please keep your kit in a cool, dry place.

Can I pick up my kit from the Sherwood Park boutique?

Unfortunately not. Shipping is already included in the pricing.

What does the tasting kit include?

We will send you a box with all the chocolates we will be tasting that night (1 kit includes chocolates for 1 attendee), a tasting mat, and a flavour wheel.

What else will I need for the tasting?

A laptop or tablet, a pen for each attendee, and a glass of water at room temperature.

You will also need to create a free Zoom account and download the Zoom app on to your device prior to be able to connect to the virtual event.

Can I attend from the US?

Unfortunately not, as we cannot ship our tasting kits across the border at this time.
