Advanced First Aid Courses - First Responder Course (North York)

Canadian Red Cross Pre-hospital Care courses offer training to first responders and those providing care in a pre-hospital setting. Team approach to professional life-support skills are offered in courses that meet the needs of emergency medical services (EMS) personnel.

All participants will receive a Canadian Red Cross certification.

Requirements: 100% attendance of the course, 75% score on the multiple choice knowledge test, Successful demonstration of required skills, Successfully complete minimum of two practical scenarios (one medical, one trauma)

This class lasts four (4) days; October 10-13, 2023 from 8am-6pm.

Certification is valid for 3 years.

Course Duration:

- 40 Hours

1. Preparing to Respond
2. Establishing Priorities of Care
3. Traumatic Injuries
4. Medical Emergencies
5. Special Populations and Situations

Includes Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP)
