Event description

Description

Our team at Community for a Sustainable World (CSW) can hardly believe that we turn 5 years old this November! With community at the very core of our values, we couldn’t think of a better way to spend our birthday than by celebrating all of the incredible people who have supported our vision along the way.

Welcome to the pop-up art exhibit: Five Years of Faces. This exhibit celebrates both the community of people involved in our journey, as well as the collaborative accomplishments we've shared over the last five years. Taking a walk through time, you're invited to lean into CSW’s value of community, and explore just how much it takes to bring our vision to life – a village.

Join us and together we'll celebrate CSW's 5th Birthday!

FAQs

What is Community for a Sustainable World (CSW)?

Community for a Sustainable World (CSW) is a Canadian non-profit organization.

Our vision, mission and even our name were born from a shared passion for the both planet and humanity. As one enormous collective of people on the planet, we believe that the uniqueness we each bring creates a diverse community of humans with so much to offer. At CSW we're tapping into our unique skills, and inviting others to join us, so that we can support those most in need to establish sustainable self-reliant communities and experience all the world has to share.

Our Vision is to support and develop sustainable self-reliant communities around the globe.

Our Mission is to:

  • introduce sustainable solutions that develop self-reliant communities
  • promote growth through skill-building, academics, and sexual health education
  • establish local and global networks that allow communities to thrive
