Flow Friday - Black History Celebration
Event Information
About this Event
Flow Friday (@flowfriday1) presents a special celebration in honour of Black history and culture. There will be a stellar line-up of curated performers, an open stage for all forms of expression, DJs, workshops, talks, yoga, tarot readings, a bar social, screenings, a soothing sound journey and Black Legends of Music tribute at this immersive event.
The platform we are currently using for Flow Friday is called Bramble and it's been developed by ARTery, whose motto is, "Every space is a stage". Bramble is a combination of a video chat and a classic video game with an interface that's perfect for facilitating flow. The theme for Black History Month this year is “The Future is Now” and what better way to bring this theme to life than with an innovative platform that provides the feeling of gathering in real space more than any other software available. Please come early if it's your first time for a tutorial.
Note: Bramble is best used with headphones and must be accessed on a laptop or desktop computer with Chrome - it's not optimized for phones or tablets yet.
Pay $20 for general admission or make a donation of whatever you'd like.
What is Flow Friday?
Flow Friday is a community for creatives, change makers and entrepreneurs. The format is continuously shifting and transforming according to the energy and dynamics of the people present. Therefore, everyone who attends is part of a vibrant, co-created flow. We have thought-provoking discussions, share our talents, support one another and learn from each other's experiences in a way that feels relaxed and natural.
