Preston Singletary

Preston Singletary has taken knowledge and techniques learned from European and Northwest Native glass artists to create works infused with themes inspired by his Tlingit heritage. He has been featured in museums and galleries across the globe, including The British Museum and the Seattle Art Museum. In 2018, Singletary presented an exhibition of his works with the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA titled Raven and the Box of Daylight, which pushed the boundaries of glass as a medium for storytelling. This exhibit traveled to various institutions around the United States, and is currently being featured in the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C. Singletary continues to exhibit internationally while teaching and lecturing about his experience and the art of glass.

Raven Skyriver

Drawing from a glass-blowing experience that has stretched back to his high school years and includes working with some of most skilled names in glass-blowing, including William Morris and Lino Tagliapietra, Raven Skyriver is able to create works at a scale that would daunt many others. His artistic passion lies in sea creatures, whose forms are shaped while the glass is still molten hot--a technique which takes precision, focus, and perfect timing. His work has been taught and exhibited internationally, and Skyriver continues to collaborate with other glass artists today outside of his individual work.
