Focus Group – Health literacy during the COVID-19 shutdown
Event Information
About this Event
When COVID-19 happened, the world changed. There was a rapid shift to online and digital ways of accessing information, particularly for those people who had health concerns. It was a big change for everyone.
TasCOSS and Health Consumers Tasmania are looking for people who are willing to participate in a one-off focus group, and share what their experience was like “going online” during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The session will include an informal discussion with up to 10 other participants, a facilitator from Health Consumers Tasmania, and some morning tea.
You will be invited to share your stories about trying to access information about health and community services online during the shutdown, and ideas about how systems could be improved.
The focus group runs for 90 minutes and you will be reimbursed a $45 pre-paid gift card after attendance.
Your insights will help us work with health and community services to improve user experience.
